Oilseed rape is one of the most visible crops in the countryside with its bright yellow flowers. It continues to increase in popularity with farmers and end-users alike. This is due to its strength as a break crop, and versatility for a host of markets including food, fuel and pharmaceutical production.
United Oilseeds, the specialist Oilseed co-operative was set up over 30 years ago to develop and market this valuable crop on behalf of its farmer members. Membership and the crops’ popularity have both expanded during this time making United Oilseeds the farmers’ first choice for seed, marketing and advice on oilseeds.
