DK Camelot is the latest variety from Dekalb, the seed breeder that introduced Castille to the UK. DK Camelot's low biomass, early maturity and very high oil content make it the true successor to Castille and it is set to become very popular with UK growers. It is the top gross output RL candidate with a Light Leaf Spot and Stem Canker rating of 6.
DK Camelot is available exclusively from United Oilseeds and gives an oil content of 46.6% compared to Castille's 43.6%. This means that for every 29 tonne load of DK Camelot that leaves your farm, you could earn an additional £433 in oil bonuses alone (based on a current ex-farm value of £332 per tonne).

DK Cabernet
DK Cabernet was the number one variety in 2010 and will continue to be very popular into 2011. DK Cabernet is the perfect late maturing partner to DK Camelot and an ideal alternative to Sesame. In fact, with an oil content of 45.5% compared to Sesame's 44.6%, each 29 tonne load of DK Cabernet that leaves you farm could earn an extra £130 in oil bonuses (based on a current ex-farm value of £332 per tonne).
